The pizza has a distinct flavor unlike most other pizzas I've had. I moved back to Castro Valley after being away for 20 years and pizza express is still right where it was....if that's not saying something in itself. Great pizza
Alright I've gotten delivery from this place a few times and it's been on point every time. Chewy crust, not too thick, good quality toppings, love the tomato basil sauce... and with a stuffed crust/stuffed dough option, sheesh. Great sizes and quality especially for the prices, and I love that you can get up to an 11 topping of your choice supreme option for any size they sell, and only for a couple bucks more than the 3/4 topping options (Also love that they put plenty of toppings on but also don't overload the pizza...I'm a firm believer that too much on top can ruin a good pizza). Only downers is getting cheese on it is technically considered a topping on the customs, and apparently there's a secret chicken tikka masala pizza you just cant get through ordering takeout or delivery on Yelp :P but the pizza is so good, and I understand not everyone wants cheese and has to pay for it anyway only to have to request to take it off; I just couldn't downgrade the rating for that with a straight face, that's just a personal preference. But dying to try the masala pizza.... Tried my first dessert here, the pizza cookie; half of it didn't make it from the door to the counter, crispy and gooey chocolate chip, this was just done so right. Easily my new favorite pizza delivery place around, cheese charge aside lol.
A friend told me about this place and how it's been his childhood pizza shop for decades. Came here for the first time and man oh man let me tell you that this place is the definition of family owned & operated! The hospitality is like none other and made me feel like I was with family from the get go. The pizza is amazing and the people are too! Be sure to check them out!
Oh man, I love this place. I am so grateful that they're close to my home. Their pizzas are amazing! My wife and I usually order a pepperoni; it's perfection, every time, and it's embarrassing how many times we've ordered it instead of trying out other pizza flavors. And their chicken tikka masala pizza is so good; I've tried out this specific pizza from several places in Fremont and Newark that make Indian-style pizza and their pizza is right up there with the best ones I've tried. Over the phone or in person, their staff has always been kind, too.
Ordered large Chicken Tikka Masala and cheese breadsticks for delivery. The food was delicious extremely fresh pizza and breadsticks. Hot on arrival not like other pizza places where it's warm by the time it gets to my home. The service was phenomenal the driver had amazing energy and vibe. Extremely pleasant customer service experience. Very nice man. I love that this place is family owned and has been around for years. I will be continue to order great pizza from this place. I strongly support this business and their amazing pizza. I strongly recommend! :)
Like all time it's my fav pizza for multi flavor Indian style authentic flavors of real spices . Happy to be here again and again. Owner is so humble and cooperative and expert for this tastes . This place is is totally neet and clean and great ambiance .
Fantastic pizza. I keep forgetting to review but my neighbor asked me the other day where I got our pie. This crust is the perfect ratio between dough and toppings. They don't skimp on the cheese and it just tastes fresh and fantastic. It seems to be family run or something. The older gentle man has always been extra kind to me too. It's my go to place for a big pie or when I go grocery shopping at TJ and I am too lazy to cook.
The pizza is always good. Service was about 10 to 15 minutes because we did a walk-in order a mini pepperoni and cheese for my granddaughter and a slice of Hawaiian pepperoni and sausage. I love pizza fresh ingredients even cool desserts. The ambience was great. It was nice and peaceful in their quietlight music is really awesome. Especially the older guy that always nice and kind and help me today were really friendly and sweet. Keep up the good work fellas I love pizza express Castro Valley Redwood Road.
